Hours volunteered at KYHA activities and events will earn credit toward each family's 5-hour Volunteer Commitment. To volunteer, please contact the Event or Activity Coordinator. As the season goes on, many volunteer opportunities arise, but availability can't be guaranteed - so sign up as early as possible. Missouri Ice Hockey Officials Association (MIHOA) has instituted a new procedure for scheduling referees for ALL practice games and tournaments effective Sept. 2, 2004. 

Each team representative MUST forward a schedule of HOME practice/exhibition games to Tom Woolf of MIHOA at wtwoof@swbell.net. Once it is verified that the team is properly registered, MIHOA will send the team representative a user name and password to the MIHOA scheduling web site. Use the user name and password to request officials for your games. You should only request officials for exhibition/practice games that your team will be responsible for paying for the officials. There will be a $2.00 charge per game for any/all exhibition games outside of any league games for the team.  In the event that your are playing a team from out of town, request the officials and get payment from the team that you are playing. Officials are NOT TO BE PAID at the game. They will be paid by MIHOA. KYHA will be billed on a monthly basis for official's services. The KYHA treasurer will bill each team for their referee fees.

If you have any games scheduled at South County Rink and you are the home team, please call the rink manager at 314.894.3089 and make arrangements for them to have a staff member available to run the clock. Scoreboard requests must be made one (1) week in advance for scheduling purposes (unless game is regularly scheduled game). They do not want parents running the clock.

Please be advised that anyone participating in Parent/Player games MUST have an HECC certified helmet and hockey gloves. Elbow and shin pads are strongly encouraged. Anyone without proper equipment will be asked to leave the ice. These games are a lot of fun for both the players and parents, and we want you to enjoy the experience. But, every participant must wear proper equipment. Thank you for your cooperation.

The home team will be responsible for mailing in score sheets. Referees will not mail in the score sheets. Please make sure you mail the score sheets and enter game scores per the time frames detailed in the rules.

Score sheets (original copy) are to be mailed to the Missouri Hockey Office within two days of the day the game was played.

Envelopes and scoresheets were distributed to each team at the mandatory coaches meeting on 10/14/2007.

Failure to mail the score sheet by the set timeframes will result in a financial assessment to the offending club at the discretion of the MAIHA - YD Executive Committee or President. Financial assessment shall be $10 per incident.

ENTERING SCORES

The home team (coach or manager) will be responsible for entering game scores into the web site. The final game score should be entered within 48 hours of the game. Failure to enter the score by the set timeframe will result in a financial assessment to the offending club at the discretion of the MAIHA - YD Executive Committee or President. Financial assessment shall be $10 per incident.

LOGGING ONTO THE MO HOCKEY SCHEDULING WEB SITE

Once you have received a user id and password from the Missouri Hockey Youth Division you can access and log into the Scheduling system using this link: www.mohockeyyd.org then click the Team Login link on the left toward the bottom. To login:

1. Enter your User ID in the User ID field
2. Enter your password in the Password field
3. Press the Log In button

CHANGING PASSWORDS

You should change your password the first time you log in. To change your password click the Change Password link on the left navigation menu and enter the following:

1. Enter your current password in the correct field
2. Enter a new password in the New Password field
3. Enter it again in the second New Password field
4. Press the Change Password button.

Your password should now be changed.

REQUESTING A NEW OR LOST PASSWORD

If you lose or forget your password you can request a new one by clicking the Request Lost Password link on the scheduling system log in page. To request a new password:

1. Select the Request Lost Password link on the scheduling system log in page
2. Enter your email address
3. Press the Request Password button

A new password will be emailed to you at the address supplied.
