Does my child need to learn to skate before joining KYHA?

The more comfortable your child is on skates, the more comfortable your child will be in our program. KYHA offers both Learn-To-Play and Mini-Mite Programs for skaters ages 4 to 7. These programs offer young hockey players the chance to develop at their own pace. The Mini-Mite Program and Learn-To-Play sessions last the entire season and combine skill development with team play as they are introduced to the game.
