2007-2008 KYHA JERSEY POLICY

All KYHA players must have black pants and red helmets.

UNIFORM PROVIDER
Johnny Mac's Sporting Goods in Sunset Hills will be our new jersey and sock vendor for the 2007-08 season. Jersey prices are $53.95 per jersey and includes the name plate, number, stop sign and flag. Socks are $10.95 per pair.

JERSEYS
As necessary, every Mite through Midget player should order home and away jerseys from Johnny Mac's in Sunset Hills. All jersey orders must be placed at the Sunset Hills store on Watson Road before August 31, 2007. (In the event a AA pool player qualifies for the AA team in their division, parents of that player will also need to go to Johnny Mac's in Sunset Hills to place their jersey order by August 31, 2007.) Once placed on a team, your Coach will handle all jersey number issues.

JERSEY NUMBERS: All children playing for KYHA with a 1999 BIRTH YEAR AND YOUNGER will go to an even/odd jersey numbering system effective with the 2007-08 season. If a number change is necessary, based on this policy, the child that was born in an even-numbered year, will be able to choose from a list of available even numbers that will be his or hers for their entire KYHA playing career. The child born in an odd-numbered year will be able to choose from a list of available odd numbers, in the same way. Johnny Mac's will have a list of all available numbers in each age group and will keep track of the numbers chosen.

Children who already have the appropriate even or odd numbered jersey (based on birth year) will not need to change.

CHANGING NUMBERS ON EXISTING JERSEYS: Parents are responsible for bringing jerseys that need to be renumbered to the Johnny Mac's store in Sunset Hills no later than September 7, 2007. Parents are responsible for the $15 renumbering fee charged by Johnny Mac's.

LEARN-TO-PLAY AND MITE DEVELOPMENT TEAMS: The cost of the jersey has been included in the registration fee for players in the Learn-to-Play program, and players assigned to Mite Development Teams. The Head Coach will distribute jerseys for players in these programs.

JERSEY FITTINGS: Any player being fitted for a jersey should bring their shoulder and elbow pads or chest protector (goalies) to the Johnny Mac's store in Sunset Hills to insure accurate sizing.

DELIVERY OF UNIFORMS: Uniform orders will be ready for pick-up in early October. The Head Coach of each team will be contacted about uniform pick up time and location.

SOCKS
To comply with the Missouri Hockey standard that each skater's uniform look the same when on the ice, each skater (Mite through Midget) must have a pair of KYHA's home and away socks. These socks should be purchased at the Johnny Mac's store in Sunset Hills, and cost $10.95 each.

MITE DEVELOPMENT TEAMS: Socks are provided as part of the registration fee. Your Head Coach will distribute.

GOALIE EQUIPMENT
At the start of the season, goalie equipment will be issued for goalies in the Mite Development Program. Goalie equipment includes: blocker, catch glove (catcher), leg pads, chest protector, goalie stick and goalie bag. Head Coaches must sign out the equipment for the season and return the equipment at the end of the season.

Contact KYHA Director of Equipment Darrel Kern at equipment@KYHA.org or 314-581-2564 with questions regarding uniforms and/or equipment.

Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and will only serve to enhance the image and appearance of the Kirkwood Youth Hockey program.
