Minnesota Hockey Camps were originally a mom and pop resort that Herb Brooks and Chuck Grillo converted into a hockey training center. This is a camp for the serious hockey player, not necessarily the most talented, but the athletes dedicated to moving on the the next level from Squirt to the professional ranks. They currently train hockey players for ten weeks during the summer and are available to answer questions from players and coaches twelve months a year. The week of August 6-10 was a great week for hockey in the St. Louis area. The Blues and Hockey Academy of St. Louis teamed up to bring local hockey players for the 2007 St. Louis Blues Summer Hockey Camp at the Blues official practice facility, IceZone at the Mills.

The St. Louis Blues Camp was designed and operated by members of the Hockey Academy of St. Louis' staff. Instructors included Blues Alumni and Hockey Academy Director Rick Zombo and current players Bryce Salvador, Jamal Mayers and Barret Jackman.

Campers learned new skills and techniques to carry with them into their tryouts for the 2007-2008 hockey season.
